Who is Yoga Ma?
A life dedicated to yoga and meditation
The story of Yoga Ma is a special one. Otherwise known as Barbara, Yoga Ma had a remarkable journey that led her to yoga in the Wild. After spending over a decade as a banker in Beverly Hills, she made her way to Santa Fe and her journey began. For the first time in her life she felt like she was home.
“I was swept off my high-heels and onto my bare feet…walking and experiencing a deep connection to nature for the first time in my life. I immersed in a practice of “yoga”, which turned out to be a calling to a much bigger view than what I had experienced thus far in my life…” -Yoga Ma
Let Yoga Ma Inspire You With Yoga and Meditation
Yoga & Meditation Guide
Barbara moved to Santa Fe in the early 90s, and “Yoga Ma” came to life (named by her students from the college of Santa Fe) while living in a cabin with the Atalaya Trail beckoning from her backyard. She has spent the last 3 decades mastering yoga and meditation as a student as well as a teacher. She inspires others during her guided Wild Yoga adventures of Spirit.
She supports guiding those on their own individual journeys…a group with existing or new family members.. individual yoga and meditation retreats…birthdays and weddings -she supports guiding gatherings of all kinds. She would be honored to guide you through your very own Wild Yoga experience with yoga and meditation. Get in touch with her today!

Outside Yoga experience testimonial
“…Flashback images in my vision . . .warmth in my heart . . .stillness in spirit . . . purpose . . .love it all!! While in the cabin, time seemed to slow down, like being in another dimension. Upon leaving, it seemed like time flew by. upon arriving to my house, it seemed like i was at the cabin forever . . .and thoughts are of returning for a longer stay! Adding the healing aspect sounds like a perfect fit. i love what you have & are creating. Thank you for honoring me by sharing the gift of a stay at the cabin…”
