Yoga Ma's Magical Mystery Tours
"For many years my own practice has been deeply supported and enhanced by setting aside time each day to immerse in the world of nature. In the process, I have found beautiful sacred spaces throughout the forest where I enjoy outdoor yoga and meditation and can also simply rest and renew amidst the Ponderosa pines. It seems to me that the importance of deeply connecting with Mother Earth is essential to keeping our balance -- our joy, lightness and ease -- in the midst of our changing times.
It's a particular pleasure to introduce the mountain trails and sacred spots to individuals whose busy lives do not typically allow for this deep contact with the earth and sky.
For those who are interested, I regularly include these magical spots in the private sessions I offer in Santa Fe. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of sharing this experience with many people from such places as India, Canada, and many places throughout the United States. Some have come to stay at the cabin retreat for a few days or as long as a month; others have come alone or with other loved ones to enjoy a few hours or a day in communion with nature, yoga and meditation. It's a particular pleasure to introduce the mountain trails and sacred spots to individuals whose busy lives do not typically allow for this deep contact with the earth and sky. This connection expands us and moves us beyond our everyday way of seeing who we are. I feel that this is what the bigger view of yoga is intended to help us to see."
